“It was both a pleasure and an honor to have been interviewed by the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce for the In Her Footsteps Podcast. I am proud to be a woman business owner in New Mexico and even more proud that business is a construction company. Historically, the construction industry has been male-dominated, however, women worldwide are breaking down these stereotypes which say that construction is better suited for males. When I joined the industry and graduated with my Masters in Construction Management, I was the only female in the program. I am proud to see more women entering the field of construction!” -Brandice Ortega
